Keynote Speaker: Dr. Brandy Fureman (9:15 - 10am)
Dr. Fureman serves as the Epilepsy Foundation of America's Vice President of Research and New Therapies and leads the foundation's efforts to support basic, translational, and clinical epilepsy research and new therapies designed to help 3 million people living with epilepsy in a timeframe that matters today. Dr. Fureman also focuses on unifying the epilepsy reasearch community to help acceletate therapies.  More info about Dr. Fureman here

Virtual Jane Experience (Ongoing - Stillwater Room)
UCB is committed to using innovation to further the understanding of epilepsy.  UCB has helped produce the story of Jane, an adult living with epilepsy, in an immersive experience using the latest virtual reality technology.  You will be guided through the experience as you see with Jane’s eyes, hear what she hears, and understand her thoughts to experience epilepsy as never before. 

From Community to Canvas: Igniting a Movement for Seizure Freedom (Ongoing - Duluth Executive Room)
You will have the opportunity during this session to contribute, inspire and help ignite a movement toward the ultimate goal of seizure freedom! During the largest gathering on epilepsy in the world, the American Epilepsy Society's (AES) Annual Meeting, nationally recognized artist Jason Naylor will be creating a three-piece mural/wall artwork depicting what seizure freedom means based on insights provided by the epilepsy community. Please join us during this session to learn about this exciting project brought to you by Eisai Inc. and share what seizure freedom means to you in words and art, inspiring Naylor’s mural painted live at the AES Conference in New Orleans, LA Nov 28th-Dec 2nd, 2018.
